About the Role This is an exciting new internal opportunity for an Event Operations Manager in Presenter Services.
This role will suit someone with significant arts and events industry experience who wishes to broaden their management skills.
You'll oversee the governance of our Event Delivery Framework, ensuring a centralised approach to event management and driving process improvements, and contribute to the Presenter Management Framework by fostering engagement with resident companies to explore growth and partnership opportunities.
You'll also lead and develop our Account Manager team by ensuring sufficient workload planning occurs and identifying potential training opportunities.
Full time ongoing position.
Band 4.3.22 Salary $111,920.64 p.a.
plus superannuation.
Your Qualifications, Skills and Experience Relevant qualification in arts, event or venue management, or equivalent professional experience in the entertainment industry, event or venue management.
Advanced understanding of event delivery processes in a major performing arts environment, and ability to identify and implement continuous process improvements.
Demonstrated capability and initiative in the planning and facilitation of events with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
Experience developing and implementing operational procedures that contribute to the delivery of the organisation's strategic goals.
Exceptional attention to detail and time management/prioritisation skills.
Extensive experience with building and maintaining relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders in a multi-venue, multi-hirer environment.
Ability to deliver a high level of customer service with a proactive approach to problem solving.
Demonstrated ability to identify and maximise commercial opportunities.
High level of experience in using Momentus.
About the Team The Presenter Services team is responsible for the effective planning, sales and event management of activities by all hirers of Arts Centre Melbourne venues, as well as exploring opportunities for business growth and collaboration with our Presenters.
