Executive Director Commercial & Legal

The opportunity
The Executive Director Commercial & Legal will lead a high-performing team, shaping VHBA's strategy and providing expert guidance to senior stakeholders across the business. The primary purpose of the Executive Director Commercial & Legal is to identify potential legal and commercial risks associated with VHBA's program of works; this will include developing strategies to mitigate risks across the business.
We are looking for:
Experience as a senior leader of significant commercial and legal issues at all stages of infrastructure project lifecycles.
Demonstrated experience providing commercial and legal advice to senior government decision makers and stakeholders.
A track record leading strategic planning activities, ensuring they effectively cascade to operational and team planning processes.
A successful background in fostering a culture of leading high-performing teams and working collaboratively to reach goals.
Management of the handling and resolution of sensitive and complex legal and commercial matters across project delivery stages.
