About the role Viterra is seeking a Container Export Operations Officer to join our team in a permanent full-time role.
The key focus of the role is preparing and issuing shipping documents, arranging and managing the loading of container grain vessels, and ensuring that documentation, data entry, and filing related to the vessel is completed.
Duties Manage bulk loading of containers, including liaising with supervision companies, buyers, brokers, banks, and overseas offices.
Create packing instructions for DCT shipments.
Issue and declare relevant Marine Insurance for CIF shipments.
Verify and process invoices in a timely manner.
Enter all relevant shipping information into our Ag Tech and Impex Docs database.
Enter and issue information for the raising of RFPs / EDNs in our Impex Docs system.
Present documents for payment against CAD sales and Letter of Credit.
Arrange and report commodity pre-shipment / individual samples.
About you Experience with export shipping documentation.
Letter of Credit experience is desirable.
Workable knowledge of the Microsoft suite of programs.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and proactive.
