We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our established team in this important role within the business.

The company: Viewscape is a progressive Australian owned manufacturing wholesaler of over 40 years in the window furnishings industry distributing nationally We have high staff retention rates and you have long term career opportunities with us Our focus is on high-quality product and bullet proof reliability Key responsibilities: Financial Reporting and Analysis: prepare, analyse & present financial statements, budgets and reports to key stakeholders through the business Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare annual and ad-hoc budgets in collaboration with department managers Systems & Process improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, increase accuracy and improve efficiency Mentorship and Management: Directly to accounts receivables position and indirectly to cross functional staff Statutory Compliance: preparation of BAS, PAYG, Superannuation, Work Cover requirements Payroll: Manage weekly payroll function, have ownership building understanding Manufacturing and Clerks Awards and our EBA and provide advice and support to management on pay structures, leave policies HR support: Support hiring and induction process, assist management team with HR, ownership of policy handbook Payments: Manage payment and banking arrangements for local and overseas suppliers Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders in all departments Skills & attributes required: Minimum 5+ years' experience in accounting/finance management Demonstrated leadership skills Effective delegation and organisation skills Experience spearheading new initiatives and a high level of diligence Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment and willing to embrace change Delegation, negotiation, conflict management and leadership skills Intermediate Excel skills and ability to identify trends Ability to solve problems and think outside the box Good business acumen Very strong attention to detail Excellent time and priority management Ability to work with other functions through effective communication skills Friendly, personable and gets along with other staff What you'll get in return: Long term job security Excellent opportunity to work with a hardworking and supportive team A job that is different every day Reporting to the General Manager, you'll work as part of a collaborative management team and drive financial operations.
