Financial Accountant

Permanent Financial Accountant job opportunity with a fast-growing Manufacturing business located in Melbourne's South East Suburbs.
Our client is a fast-growing manufacturing business located in Melbourne's South East suburbs with offices across Australia and New Zealand.
They are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their high-performing Finance team on a permanent basis.
Key responsibilities: Manage statutory reporting of balance sheet across group entities.
Perform monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing activities.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies.
Cyclical cashflow management and reporting.
Internal stakeholder management, including senior leaders and board members.
External stakeholder management where required.
Reconcile bank statements, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately in the financial system.
Manage the general ledger reconciliations, posting journal entries, and ensuring all financial data is up-to-date and accurate.
What we are looking for: Qualified Accountant (CPA, CA or equivalent) - Essential.
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics - Essential.
Strong experience with utilising Microsoft Excel - Essential.
Problem-solving ability.
High level of accuracy.
Work independently.
Analytical.
