As the Financial Counsellor and Capability Worker you will deliver financial counselling and literacy services to individual and group clients of Latrobe Community Health Service (LCHS). You will work collaboratively with internal LCHS teams and key stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for clients accessing financial counselling services, which may include negotiating with creditors, advocating with government or non-government organisations, explaining debt recovery processes, developing budgeting plans, providing educational information and delivering group sessions. To be successful, you will require: Diploma of Community Services (Financial Counselling) Equivalent or higher qualification of a Certificate III in Community Services Work and completed the Financial Literacy Skill Set units: CHCEDU005: Work with clients to identify financial literacy education needs CHCEDU006: Improve client's fundamental financial literacy skills CHCEDU007: Provide group education on consumer credit and debt.
