Our client, a leader in healthcare data and innovation, is seeking a talented Financial Reporting Team Lead to join their dynamic team based in Melbourne's East.

As the Financial Reporting Team Lead, you'll play a pivotal role, blending strategic oversight with hands-on management of financial operations across multiple countries.
Your responsibilities will include: Leading the general ledger and managing month-end processes Performing bank, merchant account, and credit card reconciliations Driving continuous improvements in finance systems and processes Preparing essential management reports and supporting budget variance analysis Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions Managing group audits and serving as the main point of contact for external auditors Collaborating with the Financial Controller and stakeholders across the business to align financial practices with strategic objectives About You: You are a finance professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience in financial reporting and compliance.
Key qualifications and skills include: Degree in Accounting and CA or CPA qualification Strong background in general ledger management and financial reporting Experience with acquisition accounting and financial statement consolidation Advanced Excel and Power Point skills, with experience using accounting software (Sage Intacct preferred) Proven leadership experience managing direct reports Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, global environment You'll also bring a calm, mature approach to your work, thriving under pressure and demonstrating a collaborative mindset when working with diverse teams across different cultures.
