We are presently in search of Food Services Assistants to become part of our expanding team at Avonlea home in Nhill, Victoria. Positions are available on a full-time, part-time, or casual basis.In this role, under the guidance of the Chef/Cook, the Food Services Assistant plays a crucial part in supporting the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the Food Safety Program (FSP). Respect is known for the great care we provide to our residents and the supportive and respectful working environment for our employees.What you will bring:Previous experience in residential aged care or a similar environment.Experience in hospitality or catering.A relevant qualification, i.e Food Safety and Food Handling Certificate.An ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.The ability to work as part of a team.Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).Flexibility for shift work.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Contribute to menu planning to meet the resident's needs and preferences.Preparation, serving, presentation and delivery of food and refreshments in accordance with the FSP.General cleaning in accordance with the FSP.Assist with the monitoring and recording requirements of the FSP.
