Are you a customer-centric and business-savvy individual, able to identify opportunities and lead strategic growth? We are currently seeking a dynamic and resourceful professional to join our team in the role of General Manager to support a recently acquired company at Epiroc Surface Division.
This role is fundamental for supporting Epiroc's further development and growth in the market in terms of revenues and market shares.
Your primary objective will be to grow the business and reinforce our organization's commitment to safety and sustainability leadership.
You will play a crucial role in nurturing a high-performance culture, expanding our market presence across all divisions, and unlocking our full market potential.

Main responsibilities: Leadership and People Management Be a role model and a visible ambassador for Epiroc values and Code of Conduct.

Build a world-class SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) culture that exceeds all KPI targets, in all that we do.

Implement a clear long-term mission, vision and strategy for the Company and visualize it for all employees.
Ensure a lean and agile organization development, fully aligned with Surface Division's strategic priorities.
Work with business controlling on developing and managing budgets, ensuring financial stability and profitability.
Make strategic financial decisions such as cost control and revenue enhancement.
Monitor and analyze financial performance identifying areas for improvement and ensuring action improvement plans are effectively executed through to success.
Growth Work closely with the division and customer centers to execute solid territory, fleet and sales management.
Increase market and customer share with the highest growth focus on Epiroc products.
Expand our customer base by increasing sales with other customers than the existing ones.
Develop use of products business, build a customer-focused aftermarket organization, considered by our customers to be the best in our industry.
Focus on improving constantly our customers' productivity and reliability.
New Technology Focus on reaching 100% connectivity with Epiroc equipment.
Successful introduction of new technology (automation, information management, 6th Sense, electrification) in order to be an undisputed market leader in all areas.
Develop our organization to be able to provide world-class support to our customers on new technology.
Operational Excellence Implement cross-functional collaboration in order to have one voice to our customers.
Improve profitability based on good price management and functional cost efficiencies.
Ensure profitability to Surface Division expectation through growth cycles and initiate contingency actions should they become necessary.
Develop supply chain to become a competitive edge for Epiroc.
Continuous improvement in working capital management (inventory, receivables) with the highest focus on aging stock and overdue receivables.
Provide our customers with high availability of products and information through lean and cost-effective logistics.
Ensure organizational agility to manage market demand swings that enhance/protect customer lead-time and bottom line profitability during upturn/downturn cycles.
Work closely with VP Marketing Orebody Solutions and other Epiroc GMs to ensure knowledge transfer of best practices as well as learning from each other.
Work closely with VP Marketing Orebody Solutions to support strategic purchasing and supplier partnering performance development strategies, and develop the organization and the supplier base according to the forward technical roadmap.
Work closely with Marketing to ensure the right capacity and lead time with high accuracy and the right support to the segmentation strategy.
Work closely with R&D regarding project portfolio planning and execution, developing and executing a plan that ensures effective decision making throughout the process and availability of appropriate cross-functional resources for successful execution in line with the decided frames for Continuous Products Improvement, New Product Development and Basic product development.
Work closely with VP Controlling, VP Operations, and the Surface Division President regarding delivery of P/L- and B/S objectives, securing predictable and transparent performance aligned to the Year End plan and the strategic objects of the Division.
Experience and requirements: At least 10 years of experience in similar roles and potentially in complex matrix organizations.
Previous experience in Epiroc product companies or similar industries is a strong plus.
Proven experience managing and nurturing diverse teams.
Degree in Business Management, Engineering or relevant fields.
Fluent spoken and written English is required.
