The role Crown Resorts have recently gone through an exciting transformation of our technology division as we look to modernise for the future.
To support this, we have a key leadership opportunity for a General Manager of Infrastructure to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to drive large scale technology change.
You will be responsible for: Developing and leading a high performing team that provides and guarantees a reliable infrastructure to support and operate all systems, network, and telecommunication platforms.
Execution of the Infrastructure strategy that supports the overall strategy of Group Technology.
Drive best practices for IT Infrastructure.
Assessing, scaling, and improving the infrastructure architecture for current and future business requirements, including store and digital growth as well as new and emerging technologies.
This includes all operational, design and engineering, capacity planning, service provisioning, security functions, and vendor management.
Advising on significant enterprise-level improvements and measurable business benefits by identifying, proposing, initiating, and leading significant programs of improvement.
Developing and maintaining flexible yet disciplined governance structures to optimise technology priorities, delivery speed, and related spend; continuously reviewing and assessing performance of financials/budgets, as well as delivery by key vendors to the enterprise.
About you This role is key to the future success of Crown.
We're looking for a dynamic leader with a passion for change.
You will have experience delivering large scale technology transformations in a complex business.
Effective communication is key, with the ability to bring along senior stakeholders for the journey.
You will also have: A degree in Engineering with additional IT qualifications or equivalent work experience.
Solid understanding of Data Centres, Cloud, Networks, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Planning, End User Compute, and Unified Communications Technologies.
Proven ability to articulate a clear vision and get buy-in across a large organisation for cutting-edge initiatives.
Experience in translating broad corporate next generation strategies into clear, specific business deliverables and solutions.
Experience in a gaming/hospitality environment would be advantageous.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop people and build an effective team culture.
