This is a unique opportunity to lead our operations at Phillip Island, Victoria.
Role Overview:
As General Manager, you will plan, organize, direct, and review the day-to-day operations of our venues in Victoria. Working alongside a passionate team, you will manage our venue at Phillip Island.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement policies, standards, and objectives to achieve organizational goals.
Provide daily management and direction, ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability.
Oversee the implementation of systems and procedures across multiple venues.
Report, forecast, and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Respond to changing situations and make decisions to guide staff and operations.
Consult with departmental heads on operations, finance, sales, and HR matters.
Represent the organization at official events, negotiations, and forums.
Prepare reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Select and manage the performance of senior staff.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus, plan meal services, and ensure timely execution of catering events.
Enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment for staff and customers.
