About The Opportunity The Global E-Commerce Manager will oversee the company's global online sales and digital presence, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience for clients, both B2 B and B2 C.
This role involves managing the external technology and digital partners responsible for the technical aspects of the e-commerce platform, coordinating with operations and customer support teams, and driving continuous improvement through strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities: Be responsible for digital platform administration and management and collaborate with the global marketing team on digital campaigns, promotions and sales.
Achieve measurable growth and online sales targets.
Proactively and effectively partner with the Sales team to deliver an exceptional digital B2 B experience.
Develop and implement annual and long-term e-commerce strategies to drive global growth and align with any company strategic objectives.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities and competitive strategies.
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement changes to optimise efficiency.
Identify and drive opportunities to enhance the digital customer experience, including improving customer service, enabling self-service and uncovering additional revenue opportunities.
Manage the budget for online operations.
Manage the external partners responsible for the technical aspects of the digital platform, including platform updates, integrations and troubleshooting.
Collaborate closely with Operations to ensure processes are in place to ensure accurate inventory, pricing, catalogue data and timely order fulfillment.
Our Ideal Candidate We seek a proactive self-starter with excellent project management skills, experience in business partnering, a knack for execution and a fresh, energetic perspective on digital trends.
Ideally, you will: Have proficiency with a range of digital Saa S solutions across commerce (Big Commerce, Shopify etc.), CMS (Sanity, Contentful etc.), analytics tools (GA4, Google Search Console etc.), marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp etc.), CRM systems, inventory management, payment gateways, SEO tools and customer support systems.
Have applicable experience working in both the Australian and US markets in similar positions.
Have strong project management and road-mapping capabilities.
Have the ability to manage and hold to account external partners and third-party vendors.
Have a proven track record of executing e-commerce and online strategies and achieving measurable results.
Demonstrate accountability and reliability by consistently meeting deadlines, managing tasks with accuracy and taking ownership of project outcomes.
Be proactive and take initiative to identify and solve problems.
Bring high energy and enthusiasm for driving e-commerce success.
Bring a digital native perspective and be up to date with the latest digital trends and technologies.
Possess strong leadership qualities and apply your experience, knowledge, learnings and enthusiasm to our growth objectives.
Be a positive contributor to change within the business and the Senior Leadership Team.
