The role The Governance and Risk Support Officer works across the Governance and Risk Unit, providing a broad range of support, including: general administrative tasks for the Unit, including purchase orders, maintenance of website and intranet content and ensuring accuracy of data and information within systems secretariat support to the Executive Team and Audit and Risk Committee, including agenda building, minute taking and document distribution assisting with Mayoral and Councillor support assisting with the facilitation of Councillor Briefings and Meetings of Council administrative support to the Risk and Insurance function To be successful in this role you will have: relevant experience and qualifications, including secretariat support to Executive Teams and/or Boards of Management intermediate – advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft programs, and the ability to learn and use new systems ability to prepare high quality documents, including agendas, minutes and meeting records ability to undertake the physical aspects of this role, including set up of furniture, carrying and transporting equipment, papers and materials experience in Local Government is desirable Annual salary increases Hybrid working options– work from home and the office Flexible working arrangements, including options for part time work and rostered days off Wellbeing initiatives and a free Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Generous leave provisions, including purchased leave options and paid parental leave Cross-skilling and professional development opportunities Visit the Why work with us page on our website for more benefits.
