About Northern Health: Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital.
In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.
About the role: An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the team at Northern Health, across inpatient and outpatient settings.
This role is responsible for providing inpatient assessment and treatment to 'at risk infants' within the Neonatal Unit and Children's Ward at the Northern Hospital, Epping (e.g.
premature, low birth weight, complex birth).
The Occupational Therapist will be accountable for providing quality person-centered care to a varied paediatric outpatient caseload through single discipline and multi-discipline outpatient clinics.
The Senior Clinician will be accountable for all Paediatric Occupational Therapy services offered at Northern Health, as directed by the Clinical Leader Occupational Therapy and Associate Director Allied Health - Occupational Therapy.
The Senior Clinician will ensure excellence in person-centered care, provide quality supervision and clinical education, and lead service improvement and research initiatives.
