Contract: Ongoing, 40.0 hours per fortnight A rare leadership opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional who has high level of knowledge and experience in hospital Central Sterile Services Departments (CSSD).

We are seeking a candidate who meets Grade 5 Instrument Technician EBA requisites.
Aspiring candidates whose application demonstrates their aptitude for leadership and governance may be considered if their progression to meeting Grade 5 requisites is imminent.
The position: The Senior Instrument Technician will oversee the day to day running of the CSSD and work in collaboration with the Perioperative leadership team to ensure the needs and services of our consumers are met.
To be successful in this role, you will provide effective leadership, direction and supervision to the instrument technician team ensuring appropriate departmental policies and procedures are in place and followed and that compliance with sterilisation standards is consistently achieved.
Flexibility to work 8-to-10-hour shifts is required to meet the roster requirements.
