The Role Reporting directly to the Group CEO, and operating as part of the group executive team, you will work closely with senior leadership to spearhead the IT strategy, ensuring robust cybersecurity measures, and leading digital transformation efforts.
You will identify opportunities, manage risks, and foster a culture of technological excellence to ensure that technology initiatives are aligned with business goals.
You will be responsible for Strategic Technology Leadership, Technology Governance and Risk Management, IT Cyber and Security, Technology Operations Management, IT Architecture, Stakeholder Engagement and Vendor Management, Emerging Technologies and AI, IT Projects and Management.
This role can be based on any major city across Australia, with travel across the region expected.
About You This role requires a visionary leader with deep expertise in IT management, cybersecurity, emerging technologies, and strategic planning.
You will have / be: A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a strong track record of managing and developing IT infrastructure, systems and security, as well as technology strategy and execution, particularly in emerging technologies and AI.
Deep understanding of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, data analytics, and digital transformation.
A proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive organizational change.
Proven management experience at the executive level including success in supervising a geographically dispersed team of staff and contractors.
