Group Taxation Accountant

The Organisation Our client is a large listed corporation with a diverse range of products and services.
Their Tax function is expanding and looking to add a highly skilled Tax Accountant to their team in an exciting newly created role.
Job Description Reporting to the Head of Tax, your role will include but not be limited to: Preparation of Consolidated Tax Return and Schedules for APAC region.
Provide guidance to group companies on any tax issues that arise in consultation with the Head of Tax.
Quarterly Tax Effect Accounting, related tax disclosures and ASX reporting requirements.
Preparation of returns for indirect tax (GST & FBT).
Prepare and/or review of monthly and quarterly business activity statements for all related entities.
Research into various tax issues as required.
Constant development and improvement of systems and tax reporting processes.
Provide training and staff guidance on tax technical issues.
Establish and maintain the relationship with the groups companies, management and external professional consultants and agents.
The Successful Applicant The ideal candidate will be CA or CPA qualified with in-depth and broad tax experience in an industry-based role.
Candidates with a grounding within Mid-Tier or Big 4 accounting firms will also be considered.
