Girton Grammar School is looking for a reliable and dedicated Yard Supervisor to join our team! What You'll Do: Student Supervision: Supervise students during morning drop-off from 8:00 AM - 8:45 AM, Monday to Friday.
Ensure a safe and orderly environment, addressing any behaviour issues and providing basic first aid when necessary.
Grounds Maintenance: Assist the Maintenance team from 8:45 AM - 10:00 AM in keeping the school grounds neat and tidy.
Perform tasks like litter collection, minor repairs, and basic gardening to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Skills: Safety awareness to ensure the well-being of students.
Attention to detail in identifying and addressing maintenance needs.
Good communication skills to interact effectively with students and staff.
Physical fitness for outdoor work and light maintenance tasks.
Reliability to consistently perform both student supervisory and maintenance duties.
Selection Criteria: Experience in a similar role is a plus but not essential.
Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance and gardening.
First Aid certificate is an advantage.
A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
