About The Role: The Consumer Growth Team within AGL's Customer Markets plays a pivotal role in the growth of AGL's residential and SME customer base across Australia.
The team uses targeted initiatives and personalized solutions to attract new customers, ensuring that our energy services align to their specific needs.
Through strategic marketing campaigns, outreach programs, and customer engagement, the Consumer Growth will strengthen our market presence by supporting growth, fostering loyalty, increasing market share, and enhancing the customer experience with innovative initiatives.
As Head of Acquisition Performance & Enablement , you will be responsible for analysing the effectiveness of acquisition marketing activity and sales channel execution, executing the Consumer Growth strategy, providing and continuously improving sales enablement, ensuring best-in-class sales execution.
You will also work closely with the Customer Experience & Insights team, leveraging market and competitor data, to measure sales performance in key strategic areas, e.g., winning the move and work with the Commercial Planning & Insights team to provide financial and business insights, supporting planning and reporting activities.
What you'll be doing: Measuring the performance of the Consumer Growth strategy ensuring up-to-date and actionable insights into Builders, Movers, Sponsorship & Partnership campaigns and initiatives and taking custodial ownership for the planning and execution of sales initiatives, to achieve acquisition targets across key segments.
Provide capability and resources to enable execution of the strategy and planning activities within value streams, e.g., invoicing, operations, go-to-market and other activities as well as managing reconciliation activities, including for third party vendors, ensuring on time and accurate reconciliation of monthly sales incentives.
Analysing sales performance data to derive insights and identifying areas for improvement in residential and SME customer segments and leveraging data and insights to measure performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Utilizing advanced modeling techniques to identify and prioritise residential and SME customer segments and leading initiatives targeting high-value residential and SME customer segments.
Establishing and embedding Lean / Agile program and project management governance approach, tools and techniques using industry best practices and organisational standards and fostering a culture of high performance by setting clear direction, regularly reviewing and developing both direct and indirect team members and promoting an environment that delivers operational excellence.
About you: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field with experience in customer acquisition performance and enablement activities, preferably within the energy retail sector.
Comprehensive understanding of the energy retail industry, including market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and competitive landscapes and familiarity with energy industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring all strategies adhere to legal standards.
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, using insights to drive strategic decisions and optimise acquisition efforts and an analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive informed decisions and continuous improvement.
Strong strategic mindset with a demonstrated ability to formulate and execute plans aligned with organisational objectives and previous experience in initiative planning through agile or project management capability has been demonstrated.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to both internal teams and external stakeholders and proven experience managing multiple teams, with a track record of effectively leading and developing high-performing teams.
