We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of M&A to join our client's team.
This leadership position is crucial in driving business growth and innovation, identifying new opportunities, and executing strategic initiatives.
The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience in business development, strategy formulation, and relationship management, particularly within the financial services and retail sectors.
Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic advice and insights to senior leadership on business opportunities and market conditions.
Lead the development and implementation of M&A strategies, including the creation of new business ventures through partner selection, inorganic growth, and acquisitions.
Develop and negotiate commercial terms for new business opportunities.
Act as a liaison between various departments, ensuring alignment and effective communication across the business.
Drive the development and delivery of business cases, presentations, and proposals that clearly articulate value propositions.
Manage and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Qualifications and Experience: 10+ years of experience in M&A, with a strong focus on strategic thinking and leadership.
Experience in a top-tier investment bank is a must.
Proven experience in financial services, retail and consumer.
A qualification in accounting, legal, or finance.
Exceptional relationship and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives.
End to end M&A transaction management and financial modelling.
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
