As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales & Events to lead our talented team and drive our events business to new heights.
The Opportunity:
As the Head of Sales & Events, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales and events function across our diverse portfolio of venues. You will lead and mentor a high-performing team, develop and execute sales strategies, and ensure the seamless delivery of events that exceed client expectations. Your role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring our venues are the first choice for clients looking for extraordinary event experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
Lead, manage, and inspire the sales and events team to deliver exceptional results.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
Oversee the end-to-end event planning process, ensuring each event is executed flawlessly.
Monitor market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to drive brand awareness and promote our venues.
Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and client feedback.
Ensure all events align with our brand standards and exceed client expectations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in a senior sales and events role within the hospitality or events industry.
Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
Strong network within the events and hospitality industry in Melbourne.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
A strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
