In a role that is both strategic and operational, your responsibilities will include: Integrating the warehousing and logistics functions to maximise efficiencies and deliver performance excellence across all sites in Australia & New Zealand.
Provide key guidance, ongoing mentoring and support for 8 direct reports, collaborating to set and manage KPIs and operational strategies.
Champion the implementation of a fully integrated ERP system and introducing associated technologies to maximise performance.
Introduce best practice in forecasting/demand planning, stock optimisation and procurement processes to deliver operational efficiencies and maximise profitability.
Empowering direct reports to take ownership of their roles, with particular emphasis on facilitating a culture of WHS risk minimisation and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Liaise with key stakeholders across the business to identify skill gaps, develop talent and recognise contribution and effort.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will be a natural "highflyer" who: Holds tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain / Business or related disciplines.
Post-graduate qualifications such as an MBA would be very highly regarded.
Ideally has at least 10 years leadership experience in a competitive supply chain environment – FMCG.
Possesses exceptional communication skills with the ability to adapt to the specific audience (internal vs external stakeholders).
Demonstrates a strategic approach with practical experience with utilising technology to enhance productivity while maintaining a positive and engaged culture across the workforce.
Has a high level of proficiency with Excel and WMS / ERP software.
Demonstrates an entrepreneurial approach with the capacity to introduce new ideas and challenge the status quo.
Has proven analytical and reporting skills, with reference to divisional P&L.
