This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Workshop Foreman like you to join our new team and contribute to our growth.
While Patterson Cheney Trucks is being constructed, the selected candidate will work from the Patterson Cheney Trucks location in Keysborough.
About the role: Supervise and lead a team of technicians in the heavy vehicle workshop.
Ensure efficient and timely completion of repairs, maintenance, and service work.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Coordinate with the parts department to ensure the availability of necessary components.
Monitor and maintain workshop equipment and tools.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and standards.
Provide technical guidance and support to technicians when needed.
Liaise with customers and provide excellent customer service.
About you: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a heavy vehicle technician.
Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
Proficient in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Excellent communication and team management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Valid HR or HC driver's license and relevant certifications.
