About your role: UGL's Manufacturing and Maintenance – Transport business is seeking a dynamic HSE Advisor to join our supportive and inclusive team, located at our Ballarat Operations Facility.
In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting site operational teams with the effective implementation of Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), Rail Safety, Workers' Compensation & Injury Management, and Environmental processes.
Key Responsibilities: Developing and delivering improvement initiatives Advising and coaching operational managers, supervisors, and workers to achieve compliance and best practices in WHS, Workers' Compensation & Injury Management, Rail Safety, and Environmental matters Providing HSE assurance and due diligence support, including conducting internal audits and facilitating external audits Leading or reviewing incident investigations as needed What we are looking for: A tertiary qualification in Workplace Safety and Health (Diploma or higher preferred) Experience managing regulatory stakeholder relationships Incident investigation training (ICAM preferred) Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective work relationships across all levels Lead Auditor qualifications in AS4801 or equivalent Why Work for Us?
