What's in it for you? The Service Delivery Centre (SDC) at EY offers a distinctive delivery model situated in Ballarat in Regional Victoria, enhancing client services by mitigating risk and increasing efficiency through the standardisation of repeatable processes.
The SDC team collaborates with EY project teams across Oceania, bolstering large-scale client projects with dedicated support.
We are looking for a HR Business partner to join our Talent team in a part-time capacity (3 days per week).
As our Human Resource Business Partner your role will be pivotal in advancing the SDC's operational prowess through strategic human resources and talent development initiatives.
This role is instrumental in cultivating robust partnerships with educational institutions and community organizations, orchestrating comprehensive talent acquisition and development strategies, and upholding strict adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
A key focus is to nurture a workplace culture that is both positive and inclusive alongside the Service Delivery Centre Leader.
Some of your key tasks will involve: Build and Maintain Trusted Relationships with Key Stakeholders: Cultivate strong, ongoing partnerships with educational institutions and community organizations to align on mutual goals and build our talent pipeline.
Own the SDC Student Programs: Take full responsibility for the design, implementation, and management of programs aimed at integrating students and recent graduates into the professional environment, providing them with valuable work experience.
Develop SDC People-Related Policies and Procedures: Regularly review and update internal policies and procedures related to human resources to ensure they are current, fair, and effectively support the SDC's goals and employee needs.
Coach in Career and Performance Conversations: Engage with employees in meaningful discussions about their career aspirations and performance, offering constructive feedback and actionable advice to foster their development.
Act as an Escalation Point for People Concerns: Be the escalation point for addressing and resolving complex employee issues, ensuring fair treatment, and maintaining a positive workplace.
Build Awareness in Regional Victoria: Implement strategies to increase the organization's presence in Regional Victoria, contributing to broader business and talent development goals.

Experience managing regulatory employment standards, including contracts, awards, and national legislation.
Experience in a Service Delivery or Managed Services environment.
Demonstrated experience in a HR or Training and Development role.
Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching or managing diverse teams.
Ability to develop and maintain lasting relationships with the team, management, and business stakeholders.
A mindset of continuous improvement, with excellent organisation, time management and problem-solving skills.
Desire to have a meaningful impact and contribute to building a better working world.
