Apply now Job no: 495740 Work type: Permanent Part-time Location: Other Categories: Leisure and Recreation Your new role The role participates in the Council's planning processes and will contribute to the successful operation and management of the Indoor Leisure Centre's. The portfolio includes Rowville Community Centre, Knox Regional Netball Centre, Carrington Park Leisure Centre/Multipurpose Facility and Aimee Seebeck Hall and other venues or services as required by agreement. This role is permanent part time 0.55 FTE (21 hours per week) and will require the incumbent to work onsite across the venues as required. The successful incumbent would preferably be available Monday 9.30am - 3.30pm, Tuesday 1.30pm - 6.00pm, Wednesday 8.30am - 3.30pm and Thursday 1.30pm - 6.00pm or can provide similar availability. This is a Band 5 classified role, remuneration will be $78,036.84 to $90,793.94 pro rata (depending on skills and experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee. What you will need to thrive The key selection criteria for this role are: Ensure the Indoor Leisure Centre's facilities and equipment are well maintained and safe. Undertake a range of administrative and general duties to support the day-to-day delivery of the Centre's programs and services. Continually develop/improve risk identification and mitigation process and ongoing safety management process. In collaboration with the Emergency Management Team support the activation and coordination of the Knox Regional Netball Centre and/or Rowville Community Centre as Relief Centre where required. Participate and take lead where required in the review, development and implementation of processes and procedures impacting Council's Indoor Leisure facilities. Supervise, support and provide guidance in the development of the casual and part time Duty Officer team including progressing clear expectations and the Roadmap process. Assist in the rectification of maintenance requests as well as providing feedback on the quality and delivery of building maintenance, cleaning and other service contracts. Assist in the delivery of the capital works programs.
