About this role
We are recruiting for a
Junior Project Manager/Estimator
to join our Service division in our
Victoria
office.
Here's how your role will strengthen our team.
Your responsibilities
Coordinate aspects of the construction process, including RFI's, procurement, scheduling, commissioning, O&M manuals.
Coordinate project communications with internal and external stakeholders.
With support from management, develop project schedules, review contracts, estimate changes, purchase materials and equipment and manage the project financial performance.
Develop / assemble start-up submittals and other project documentation.
You may also engage with contractors, engineers, architects and vendors.
Work with foreman and site superintendents to review the project documents and discuss labour requirements and staffing.
Work with the Safety Manager, on-site team to ensure safety on site is our #1 priority.
Your experience and skills
1+ years of previous project manager or estimating experience in a related industry. Will also consider those with project coordinating experience.
Basic understanding of contract law, project management and estimating.
Electrician TQ, Electrical engineering degree, diploma, or other relevant education a strong asset.
Proficient in MS Office. Experience with AutoCAD, Accubid, MS Project, are an asset.
You must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good organizational skills.

Salary Range:
$70,000-$80,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package.
