Lawyer/Associate (Commercial Litigation)

As a Litigation Lawyer, you will work alongside esteemed partners, handling a wide range of general commercial litigation matters. Your expertise in litigation, including insolvency matters, will be essential in managing complex cases and delivering exceptional legal solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and advise on various facets of general commercial litigation, including:
Shareholder disputes
Australian Consumer Law breaches
Lease disputes
Professional negligence matters
Insurance litigation
Complex property, partnership, contract, and insolvency disputes
Collaborate with partners who also practice in employment law, potentially involving you in employment-related matters
Provide strategic legal advice and representation to clients
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, and submissions
Appear in court and instruct counsel in litigation proceedings
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years PAE in litigation, including experience with insolvency matters
Strong understanding of general commercial litigation
Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Strong client relationship management skills
Admitted to practice in Victoria
