About the role We currently have an opportunity for a Lawyer (2-3 years'PQE) in our well regarded Development team, led by Partner Nick Holuigue.
The Development practice at Maddocks is the pre-eminentproperty development practice in Victoria (with a team consistingof over 50 people, including six Partners) who work and collaboratewith other sections of the firm, in order to provide end to endlegal advice in the property development cycle.
The team pridesitself on being able to assist leading developers (both listed andprivate) by providing outstanding and commercial legal advice ineach step of the development process (from acquisition to delivery)and has an in-depth understanding of the industry.
The team isactively involved in industry associations and assisting clientsmanage the ever changing legal framework surroundingdevelopments.
About you The successful candidate will ideally have 2-3 years'experience in property law (ideally, with some exposure to propertydevelopment), be passionate about property and committed to movinginto a property development focused role with the ability to becomeinvolved in all aspects of the development cycle and in projectdelivery in the residential, commercial/retail and industrialsectors.
Furthermore you will have strong attention to detail and enjoyworking in a fast-paced environment in a large team.
