To be based at our new head office in the Melbourne CBD, with flexible working arrangements, your role will primarily involve providing legal support and advice to our Business Development team in pursuing our pipeline of acquisition opportunities and greenfield project opportunities nationally, as well as working in a diverse range of other areas in supporting Australian Venue Co's growth strategy.
You will form part of a collaborative team that prides itself on providing pragmatic and commercially focused advice.
Your key responsibilities will include: Providing legal support on leasing transactions and acquisitions, working closely with our Business Development and Property teams.
Supporting our Procurement team as they continue to pursue strategic procurement opportunities by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
Providing general legal advice in disputes, intellectual property, and regulatory matters.
The Legal team operates in a fast-paced, agile environment, working closely with senior stakeholders in Australian Venue Co.
About you As an ideal candidate, you will have: At least 3+ years post-admission experience.
Good understanding of commercial and contractual law and leasing matters.
A current legal practising certificate in Victoria.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
A collaborative approach with the capability to interact well with internal and external stakeholders.
A commercial mindset with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
