is excited to announce an opportunity to lead as the Manager of Assets and Projects. In this role, you will oversee the management of civil works projects and assets, ensuring successful project delivery while driving community-focused initiatives and advancing our council's vision.

Key Responsibilities:
Council's Capital Works Program Delivery:
Including annual capital planning/review processes and direct delivery of civil works projects as required.
Asset Management and Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) processes:
Including policy/strategy/asset plan development and Asset Management and GIS Systems.
Your strategic outlook and highly developed leadership skills are essential to your success in this position, as is your experience in advocacy and a community-facing role.
Further Skills and Experience Required:
An in-depth understanding of Asset Management/GIS principles and methodology.
Knowledge of the relevant legislation applicable to the Asset's areas.
Comprehensive knowledge of Civil, Structural, and Architectural practices and standards.
Extensive high-level contract management skills, including a strong understanding of contract law and practice.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal government funding for assets and projects.
Strong understanding of the social, political, and legal framework of Victorian local government.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Superior time management and strong organizational skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related area, with postgraduate qualifications in Management or Finance preferred.
