THE ROLE This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager who will lead a small dynamic fast-paced team within the broader environment of Homes Victoria.
This position will report to the Director, Aboriginal Housing, and will be responsible for leading a wide range of Aboriginal housing policy design and implementation across the housing system.

A strategic policy and innovative thinker, who engages at the big picture level and has a strong foundation of policy skills.
A strong leader and people manager who can engage a team to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced and flexible environment and implement strong project management practices to support delivery of policy and legislative reform.
A collaborative personality who can influence and negotiate with key stakeholders within government and the sector in order to drive forward key government reforms.
A dynamic team-player with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, committed to delivering outcomes under tight timeframes.
COVID-19 VACCINATION The department strongly recommends (but does not mandate) that employees maintain their COVID-19 vaccination status in accordance with current ATAGI (Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation) advice , given their individual circumstances.
As of June 2023, DFFH does not require evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status.
