What will your typical day look like? In response to the growing demand both globally and here in Australia for Trustworthy AI Governance and Risk Management Services, we are looking to hire a Manager to join our national team delivering market leading advice and practical solutions that make a material impact to our clients, our people and society.
We are seeking a Manager with demonstrated experience in AI Governance, Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance.
The successful candidate will have experience in developing Trustworthy AI policy and procedures in order to support service delivery and product development, team building (including retraining of existing resources) and client-facing sales.
Ideally located in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, you will work with potential and existing clients across a wide range of industries and the public sector, to advise, deliver and implement customised Trustworthy AI solutions.
The successful candidate will have responsibility to: Support our clients to achieve their AI goals by advising on safe and responsible AI policies, standards, and practices Design and implement AI risk management and governance frameworks that support clients to meet regulatory demands and industry, government and community expectations Embed risk management into every stage of the AI lifecycle Shape the future of Trustworthy AI by contributing to thought leadership in the field Support leadership in growing our Trustworthy AI business Stay ahead of the curve with the latest trends, innovations and AI regulations Seize new business opportunities, craft compelling proposals and drive successful client engagements Mentor and inspire the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth Lead teams to deliver top-notch Trustworthy AI solutions that exceed client expectations Maintain the highest quality in every project, reflecting our commitment to excellence About the team Working across a wide range of industries and the public sector, our team advises, implements and delivers customised Trustworthy AI solutions to fit the unique needs and challenges of each client.

You may have all or some of the following skills / experience: Expertise in AI Governance : Experience in AI governance, risk management, or related fields, with a proven track record of developing and implementing AI policies and frameworks Regulatory Knowledge : Strong knowledge of AI-related regulations, ethical standards and industry best practices Technical Acumen : Proficiency in AI/ML technologies, data science and analytics tools Business Development : Experience identifying business opportunities, developing proposals and driving successful client engagements Risk Management : Ability to identify, assess and mitigate AI risks across the AI lifecycle Communication : Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Client Engagement : Experience in client-facing roles, with a history of advising and supporting clients on AI governance and risk management Team Leadership : Experience leading and mentoring teams, with a focus on fostering professional growth and development Strategic Thinking : Strong strategic planning and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on long-term AI governance goals Project Management : Solid project management skills, including the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time Collaboration : Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, industry leaders and internal teams Continuous Learning : Commitment to staying updated with the latest Trustworthy AI trends, innovations and regulatory changes At Deloitte, we focus our energy on interesting and impactful work.
