We are seeking an experienced Manager - VPP Solutions to join this forward-thinking organisation.
The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and deployment of VPP solutions, leveraging advanced technologies to aggregate and optimise distributed energy resources such as solar, battery storage, and demand response.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the strategy and development of Virtual Power Plant solutions.
Design, implement, and manage VPP operations to optimise distributed energy resources.
Collaborate with technical, commercial, and regulatory teams to ensure VPP solutions align with market requirements.
Analyse market trends and customer needs to drive the evolution of VPP offerings.
Oversee the integration of new technologies and software platforms into VPP systems.
Develop and manage partnerships with key stakeholders, including grid operators and technology providers.
Monitor VPP performance and utilise data analytics to enhance operations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and market rules.
Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of VPP projects and initiatives.
Engage with customers to support VPP adoption and optimise their energy assets.
Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on VPP growth opportunities.
Develop business cases and models to support new VPP initiatives.
Manage risk and implement strategies to mitigate operational challenges.
Lead the continuous improvement of VPP processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Extensive experience in energy management, distributed energy resources, or VPP operations.
Strong understanding of the Australian energy market and regulatory environment.
Proven track record in managing complex projects within the energy sector.
Experience with software platforms and technologies related to VPPs and energy management.
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
