Summary We are seeking a dynamic Marketing & Sales Executive to join our team at voco Melbourne Central.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns and initiatives to promote the hotel, restaurant, and conferencing events.
You will support the proactive sales team through prospecting, contracting, and system management.

Responsibilities Marketing Execution for Hotel, Restaurant, and Conference & Events: Execute existing marketing plans to promote the hotel, restaurant, and conference offerings.
Assist in the creation and implementation of annual marketing strategies, promotional plans, and a calendar of events.
Ensure consistent messaging, brand tone, and positioning in local markets based on market insights while aligning with brand standards.
Digital Marketing: Manage the hotel website to maximize content effectiveness for SEO and enhance user experiences across rooms, restaurant & bar, and conferencing sections.
Promote the Blacksmith Bar & Grill by maintaining the website and implementing campaigns to increase guest visits.
Drive bookings for the conference space by managing website content, listings, and executing targeted campaigns.
Develop and distribute regular email marketing (EDMs) to promote the hotel, conferencing, and restaurant.
Maintain and promote the online gift voucher system to boost sales.
Oversee online listings, including Online Travel Agents (OTAs), to ensure engaging content and maintain high performance scores.
Social Media Management: Manage social media channels in alignment with brand direction, creating engaging content, and growing the social media presence.
Engage with the online community to enhance brand awareness and customer loyalty.
Marketing Collateral: Utilize Canva to create and activate marketing collateral for rooms, restaurant, and conferencing, ensuring brand consistency across all materials.
Strategic Marketing: Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, communicating with senior leaders about marketing strategies, programs, and budgets.
Participate in end-of-month reporting to assess the effectiveness of current marketing initiatives, including tracking and analysis.
Maintain effective internal communication to ensure all hotel departments are informed of marketing and communication objectives.
Engage with suppliers and partners to ensure marketing investments deliver value and drive ROI.
Proactive Sales Support: Support local corporate contracting and the Request for Pricing (RFP) season.
Maintain the groups calendar and manage pricing to optimize occupancy and revenue.
Oversee system requirements such as I-know allocations to ensure efficient operations.
Assist in prospecting activities, including cold calling, to drive new business opportunities.
