Maternal & Child Health Nurse Clinical Coordinator Universal Full time, Ongoing Maternal & Child Health Nurse, Starting salary $126,295 plus superannuation The City of Greater Bendigo is in the heart of central Victoria on Dja Dja Wurrung and Taungurung Country.

Now is a great time to join us! The Role We are looking for a passionate and experienced Maternal and Child Health Nurse Clinical Coordinator Universal.
The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of nurses, showing commitment to improving outcomes for children and their families in the Bendigo region.
A thorough understanding of the Maternal and Child Health service principals, practice guidelines and current programming are essential to this position.
They will be a part of a team that is committed to supporting the development and protection of the emotional and physical wellbeing of children and their families through a well-being model focus on service delivery.
This position plays a vital role in leading both staff and service delivery within the MCH program while ensuring compliance, quality, and cultural safety.
The role is balanced between 2 days of clinical work and 3 days of managerial duties, ensuring both direct client care and effective team leadership.
Work days are Monday – Friday between 8am – 5pm, with flexibility on start/finish times.
The role is based at Bendigo Gov Hub (Galkangu) Bendigo, with regular visits to our Maternal and Child Health Centres across Bendigo.
About You We are looking for applicants that have a positive, professional and enthusiastic attitude about working with and supporting a team - with a dedicated and caring professional focus on children, families and our community.
You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and reflective practice whilst being flexible and responsive to the changing needs of the team, service and community.
A high standard of interpersonal skills, demonstrated inclusive practices and the capacity to communicate with a wide variety of consumers and professionals will be key to success in this role.
The desired applicant will meet the following requirements: Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) board of Australia as a General Nurse and Registered Midwife.
Qualification in Family and Child Health or equivalent.
Recent experience working within the Victorian Maternal and Child Health service.
Current Victoria Driver License.
Current employee Working with Children Check.
Satisfactory police check.
