Your Role As a part-time Metalsmith, you'll apply your skills to Army hardware and work on armaments, battle tanks, high-tech armoured troop carriers and weapon systems.
Your primary role will be to fabricate, repair, modify and reclaim military equipment and components.

On completion of your initial military and employment training, you could earn at least $220/day tax-free.

Location You will train for 3 weeks in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
Following your training, you will be posted to an Army unit close to where you live.
Apply Now For this role, you'll need to be a qualified Welder 1st Class, Boilermaker Marker Off, Boilermaker Welder or Sheet Metal Worker having completed an approved apprenticeship or approved traineeship at a recognised institution as well as the full-time employment requirement for that trade.
You'll also need completion of Australian Year 10 education (or equivalent) with passes in English and Mathematics.
