Join the team We are seeking an experienced and collaborative National Planning Manager to join our Supply Chain team.
Leading two direct reports, this role is committed to translating supply and demand forecast data into an effective plan for our Distribution Centers to execute, ensuring high in-store availability and an optimal Supply Chain cost profile.
Working for the largest retail importer in Australia, you will be joining a team of like-minded and driven individuals as well as having a direct impact on our customers! What you'll be doing Ensure the end-to-end Supply Chain Planning function is operating efficiently and effectively.
Leading the collection and analysis of all the supply and demand data from the Merchandising, Inventory, International and Domestic supply chain Functions.
Lead the DSC planning activity, ensuring timely, accurate and robust reporting and analysis.
Be responsible for improvements in the S&OP process as well as the inputs to making the supply chain more efficient.
Provide the rolling forecast of inbound, processing and outbound volumes against chamber capacities.
Act as a key stakeholder for projects with volume or capacity impacts.
Ensure all planning processes are executed to national agreed standards in multiple Kmart & Target Distribution Centre sites.
Coach and develop direct reports to successfully deliver on key accountabilities and seek out opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver the key business objectives of maximum availability with the most efficient cost profile and no compromise on safety.
To be successful in this role you'll have: Ideally 3-5 years' experience within a similar planning role.
Strong analytical and reporting ability.
High level of problem solving and flexibility within a constantly evolving environment.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to liaise, influence and communicate effectively with people at all levels.
Ideally proven leadership experience having evidence of mentorship and employee development.
