About Us: Our mission is to support young people and their families in our community to achieve their goals and aspirations.
We work towards this through providing a range of services across North East Victoria that enables young people to achieve safe housing, develop their independent living skills, foster and nurture family relationships and sustain education and employment.
To achieve this, we work closely with education, health, legal, family, mental health, local government and family violence prevention agencies.
We believe in empowering young people, fostering community engagement, and driving positive change and we are looking for a leader who can elevate our impact.
The Role: As our CEO, you will provide visionary leadership, guiding our strategic direction and operational excellence.
You will engage with diverse stakeholders, build partnerships, and inspire our team to work collaboratively towards our mission.
Your innovative mindset will help us navigate challenges and seize opportunities for growth and outreach.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and implement our strategic plan, ensuring alignment with our mission and community needs.
Cultivate relationships with Government, philanthropic organisations, partners and community leaders to expand our network and resources.
Inspire and manage a dedicated team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
Advocate for the needs and interests of young people within our community, ensuring their voices are heard and valued.
Oversee financial management, fundraising efforts, and program development to ensure sustainability and impact.
Facilitate the provision of policy insights and strategic intelligence to the board, acting as the primary communication conduit between the Board and the NESAY team.
Who You Are: A visionary leader with a strong passion for social change and community development.
An excellent communicator, capable of inspiring others and building meaningful relationships.
Extensive experience in providing inspirational leadership within the health/community/not for profit sectors.
A strategic thinker who can navigate complex challenges with innovative solutions through all aspects of financial, operational, people management skills and leading change.
Committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a deep understanding of the issues facing young people today.
