Job Description About the Role: Join our Melbourne based team as a Network Designer, where you'll create and plan advanced Fibre Networks for Broadacre developments, Integrated Communications Networks (ICN), and Multi Dwelling Units (MDU).
In this role, you'll also participate in the development and enhancement of design guidelines.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: Create and maintain design documentation for pit and pipe and fibre standards, ensuring adherence to quality control processes Review and optimize design standards for enhanced network flexibility and cost efficiency Design fibre networks for Multi Dwelling Units (MDUs) and develop pit and pipe networks using Auto CAD Produce fibre network designs in Auto CAD and DAD, including detailed splicing layouts Generate Bills of Materials (Bo Ms) for both Broadacre developments and MDUs Provide regular design status updates and maintain accurate project documentation records Ensure compliance with document control procedures and engage with project managers for optimal design outcomes Address customer issues within DAD and other Telco portals by maintaining accurate records Collaborate with contractors to achieve the best results from design implementations Assist in the continuous improvement of design guidelines and processes About you: The ideal person for this role will have/be: Problem Solver with strong attention to detail Excellent oral and written communication skills Self-starter who can manage priorities and their time effectively Ability to work with a range of different stakeholders both internally and externally Adaptable and able to work in a dynamic changing environment Team player able to work effectively as part of a team and shares knowledge and skills Innovative approach, seeks ways to improve on past experiences by providing creative solutions Takes initiative for ongoing personal development identifying and continually developing skills and talents Integrity – performs with honesty, transparency and trust Always presents professionally, reflecting a positive attitude and approach to their work Demonstrates flexibility when the needs of the business changes and management directives change to ensure the best outcome is achieved to meet daily operational targets Telecommunications Network Design: Experience in designing networks for new developments and Multi Dwelling Units (MDUs) is desirable.
Auto CAD Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of advanced experience with Auto CAD Technical Skills: Advanced skills in MS Office.
