About the role South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager for the Day Oncology Unit.
The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) of Day Oncology Unit demonstrates expert knowledge and skills whilst assuming a prominent management and leadership focus within the Nursing Directorate.
The NUM will manage, maintain and promote the professional standards of nursing practice, provide leadership to ensure clinical standards are achieved to a high quality of nursing care and maintain an environment which provides professional development and job satisfaction for staff.
Position overview Part-time (64 hours per fortnight), On-going position Warrnambool Campus Nurse Unit Manager Level 1 What you bring The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and advanced nursing care of the oncology patient.
Along with a demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment, the successful candidate will have expert knowledge of clinical systems that promotes safe patient care, and a strong knowledge of SWH organisational structure and processes.
