Always. About the Mental Health Department St.
Vincent's Mental Health (SVMH) provides high quality services across an adult area mental health service for the inner city areas of Yarra and Boroondara.
The service utilises the Strengths Model & Recovery Oriented Framework for mental health services which is embedded across all parts of the service.
The adult mental health inpatient service comprises of a 44 bed Acute Inpatient Service (AIS) located on the St.
Vincent's Hospital Fitzroy site, Footbridge Community Care Unit (CCU), North Fitzroy PARC, Older adult mental health inpatient and community services, Community mental health services Hawthorn and Clarendon clinics, CART (CATs, EDMH, Triage, Hope).
We also boast state-wide services such as NEXUS Dual Diagnosis Advisory Service, Victorian Dual Disability Service and the Victorian Transcultural Mental Health service.
About the Role St Vincent's is seeking an experienced and passionate Nurse Unit Manager to join our Acute Adult Inpatient Mental Health Service on a full time basis.
Working opposite the Ground Floor NUM, the successful applicant will manage the First Floor, 22 bed unit including coordinating the day to day operational needs of the service at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne.
Working as a team to provide leadership and management to a large team of nurses and allied health professionals promoting a healthy, safe and supportive working culture in an effort to enhance the provision of care and outcomes for our consumers.
