Amazing Kids OT is a small family-centred private Paediatric Occupational Therapy practice in Geelong, Victoria (gateway to Victoria's Surf Coast & Bellarine Peninsula).
We are looking for a full (or part time) OT who is passionate about working with neurodivergent children.
We have several sensory rooms and provide clinic, home, school and community-based visits depending on the child and family's needs.
Our mission is to provide therapy through a neurodiversity affirming, strengths-based, trauma-informed, relationship and sensory processing lens to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young clients and their families.
There will be the opportunity for the development of improved service provision in the area of neurodiversity affirming practices and a career pathway to a more senior role.
Job tasks and responsibilities The position involves working collaboratively with children & their families through: sensory-friendly and trauma-informed interventions play and relationship-based approaches advocacy for inclusive environments adaptive strategies and tools family education and support documentation Skills and experience The successful applicant must have some experience working with neurodivergent children, particularly Autism.
If you are a New Graduate, you are encouraged to apply if you have worked with children in a Therapy Assistant, volunteer role, or extensively throughout your degree.
You must be compassionate, motivated to learn, playful, and have a desire to be the best OT you can be.

Ongoing peer mentoring sessions, weekly direct mentoring with senior OT, and team-building days will assist you in building your skills, developing confidence in your abilities, and feeling supported along your journey.
The salary will be at an above-award rate and will depend on the level of experience.
A working with children, police check & driver's licence are essential.
Work hours can be flexible; paperwork/administration time will be factored into each week and can be completed from home.
Billable requirements are less than the industry standard as we value quality of service over quantity.
A laptop and phone will be provided.
