Ohs Officer

Your key responsibilities include: Build upon an existing Workplace Health & Safety framework and strategy Conduct site inspections, manage risk assessments, & conduct training when needed Identify hazards & risks on site and take action to minimise potential harm to personnel Ensuring the workplace is compliant with laws and regulations Managing / Administering the OHS incident reporting Collating and maintaining HSW data to assist with reporting and data analysis.
Raising purchase orders and ordering and processing deliveries of HSW-related materials.
Updating OHS noticeboards and staff intranet OHS pages.
Assist the HSW team with project managing organisation wide improvement initiatives and projects You will have the following: Relevant qualifications in OHS Previous experience in an OHS role for a multifaceted organisation Excellent stakeholder engagement Practical knowledge and understanding of underlying principles of OHS and Injury Management/Return to Work (RTW).
