Operations Supervisor | UAE National only, MENA Operations TA Job ID: 2744819 | Q-Express Documents Transport To help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor to drive both innovation and execution in our busy Transportation network.
Your responsibilities: Support the overall daily management of operational duties, deputizing for the Operations Manager as required.
Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station and on the road.
Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to ensure every shipment meets and exceeds operational KPIs.
Monitor coordinator and associate performance, providing coaching when needed.
Partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations.
Communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and improve quality.
Interview candidates for associate roles.
Brief and monitor the workload of all drivers and associates, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately.
Measure and monitor overall workflows and daily metrics to assist the Operations Manager with tracking and reporting on site performance.
Help with training and mentoring new associates, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to succeed.
Resolve any process-related issues as required.
Be flexible to work in different shifts and do overtime when needed.
Resource your function from a personal standpoint, including training needs, absence, performance management, and monitoring department productivity.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS UAE National with a family book is mandatory.
Freshers interested in working within site-based logistics field are welcome.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
