I am looking for someone who is extremely hands-on, in the tools day in, day out, and is looking to work for a company with a great culture and reputation. As a hands-on Paid Search Specialist, you will work closely with the Senior Manager, Digital Channels to implement and optimise the search engine marketing (SEM) acquisition and retention strategy to deliver on program and Fund objectives. You will lead the Fund's paid search strategy, drive digital maturity, and provide optimisation support to the hybrid performance marketing team. Key duties include but are not limited to: Manage the entire day-to-day SEM program across Acquisition and Retention. Act as the Fund's SME and thought leader in the Search space, and coach the team and broader Department on best practices. AB testing and driving continual improvement to the program around bids, ad copy, keyword optimisation, and targeting (i.e. leveraging 1st party data). Work with the Marcomms team to analyse and strategise creative optimisation (ad copy and landing pages) of the program to produce better results. Work with Data Science/analysts to uncover actionable insights to improve channel effectiveness, increase acquisition numbers, and drive a lower CPA. Leverage Google360 across Ad serving & Trafficking, Tracking & Attribution, Data Analysis & Reporting for program optimisation and upward trending ROI against KPI's and targets. Work with External Agencies to ensure Google is delivering as part of the overall digital program. Deliver positive and upward trending ROI against KPIs & targets by implementing evidence-based test and learn programs across new and existing SEM tactics and audiences. Support the hybrid performance marketing team when required - Programmatic, Affiliates, Paid Social. What You'll Need: 5 - 7+ years' experience within a similar role. Expert in SEM, with hands-on client or agency experience. Background managing complex SEM programs with multiple objectives, products, and audience segments. Strategic, creative thinking, planning, analytical skills and very strong with data and drawing data-led insights to inform optimisation decisions. Extensive experience in organising and prioritising own workload to deliver projects on time, to budget, and to the desired standard. Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to influence stakeholders effectively. Strong understanding of other Performance channels i.e. Programmatic, paid social, affiliates, and how they work across the acquisition funnel.
