About The Role As a Patient Services Assistant (PSA), your role is to work across all acute wards ensuring the effective provision of patient care in the assistance of nursing staff in the areas of patient welfare, comfort, hygiene, and transport in order to achieve and maintain quality patient outcomes.
Duties of the role include but are not limited to: Provision of transport and couriering services of patients, wards and departments in line with relevant EBA and Barwon Health policy and procedures to ensure patient-centered care is delivered and maintained Providing assistance under direction, once trained to a competent level, with patient restraint Provision and monitoring of quality meal services to ensure correct meal supplements are provided Please note: Barwon Health will only contact you via our official email and never use unconventional means, such as text messaging or other services.
