The Performance Tester is responsible for planning, organising and conducting Performance Testing in projects/programs within BUPA Technology by adhering to and implementing the missions, goals, standards, and test processes that have been established for Bupa Australia's (ALM) Application Life Cycle Management. Key responsibilities include the following: Understand and align to BUPA testing standards, audit, and compliance requirements throughout the delivery of the project. Designing and implementing performance test strategies in agile environment. Ability to write SQL queries to extract data for performance test scripts from the database. Analyse the requirements, user stories and solution design documents and produce detailed test plan and test cases for Performance Testing. Able to create performance and load scripts using Load Runner, Jmeter and other performance testing tools. Execute the performance test cases and document the test results. Identifying performance issues and analysing the results and sharing the observations with the project stakeholders. Setting up monitoring and gather the performance statistics during the test execution. Present performance defects and findings in defect triage meeting and provide input for the remediation of performance defects. Produce the performance test deliverables i.e., test plan, test case, and test completion report to the agreed timescale, budget, and quality. Complete BUPA test training (certificate) to get a good understanding of BUPA core applications. To be successful in this role you'll need: Prior experience working in an agile development environment and have a good understanding of agile ceremonies and processes. Experience working in a large-scale and complex environment with the ability to adapt to changing project priorities and conflicting schedules. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in Performance Testing. Must have hands-on experience in working with Load Runner/Jmeter. Preferred: Hands-on experience with the following protocols – Citrix, RTE and Truclient. Good understanding of CI/CD and proficiency in cloud-based solutions. Experience in analysing performance bottlenecks using performance monitoring tools such as App Dynamics. Proven experience in performance testing CRM and Mobile applications.
