About the role We are seeking a Planning Optimisation Engineer with a background in planning and project controls working on infrastructure projects.
This role is based in Sydney or Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities: Implementation of cutting-edge services in schedule intelligence, planning optimisation, and risk management.
Utilise your problem-solving skills to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop effective solutions that enhance project delivery.
Prepare and present practical optimised solutions, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
Provide strategic insights and feedback to continually improve service delivery and project performance.
Collaborate with and support the leadership team by working autonomously on assigned tasks, ensuring that the planning function integrates seamlessly with broader project management efforts.
About you - 7+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in infrastructure projects.
- 5+ years of hands-on site planning experience, including roles on major infrastructure projects.
- Bachelor's degree in civil or construction engineering or a related field.
- Expert proficiency with Oracle P6 software and other project management tools.
- In-depth understanding of construction methodologies and project management principles.
- A proven track record of identifying problems, developing solutions, and driving implementation to achieve project goals.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and implement new innovative technologies and software.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
