About the Role As a PMO Analyst in our Workforce Strategy & Transformation Team in Talent & Culture, you will help in designing and delivering various initiatives which directly contribute to ANZs purpose to "shape a world where people and communities thrive".

Role Type: Permanent Role Location: Melbourne Work Hours: Full-time, 40hrs/week What will your day look like? Your key responsibilities will include: Collaborate closely with, or work within, a Project Management Office (PMO) that oversees multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Apply your proven track record in diagnosing process deficiencies and inefficiencies to implement continuous improvement interventions.
Implement and coordinate project reporting, as well as presentation packs, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided to stakeholders for effective decision making.
Apply your expertise in project portfolio management, prioritization, resource allocation, and strategic planning to optimize the delivery of projects and maximize resource utilization.
Manage financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints and that resources are utilized efficiently.
Oversee vendor management and invoice processing, ensuring that vendor relationships are effectively maintained and that financial transactions are accurately tracked.
Act as an onboarding subject matter expert (SME), guiding new team members and PMO team members through onboarding processes and ensuring they have the resources and knowledge needed to succeed.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, applying your skills in risk management to proactively address potential issues and ensure project success.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, maintaining project integrity and alignment with organizational policies.
Leverage your love for data analytics, modeling, and insights tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Qlik to analyze complex data sets and enhance reporting solutions and dashboards.
Communicate effectively and authentically, delivering valuable insights to senior stakeholders.
Your exceptional communication skills will be crucial in influencing decision-making processes.
Demonstrate commitment and contribute to team building and collaborative efforts.
Your ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams will help foster a positive and productive work environment.
What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Advanced certifications in project management or related disciplines are highly desirable.
Extensive experience working in the Project Management Office (or along with PMO offices) that manages multiple complex projects concurrently.
Experience in project portfolio management, including prioritization, resource allocation, financial management, risks and issues management, vendor management and strategic planning.
Track record of diagnosing process deficiencies and implementing continuous improvement interventions.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver insights and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Proficiency in data analytics, modeling, and insights tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Qlik.
Proven skills in risk management, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
Experience in vendor management and procurement processes.
Knowledge of agile methodologies.
